Shape up Arizona! At Chandler’s Day of Play – October 16, 2010
Saturday, October 16th Tumbleweed Park in Chandler hosted “Shape Up Arizona at Chandler’s Day of Play”. 109 vendors, government entities and foundations, including Azy’s Photography, took part in this statewide celebration recognizing the importance of fitness, health, wellness and the holistic approach to a healthier lifestyle, mind, body and emotions. Azy photographed activities and presentations designed to provide a free, fun family outing. Children and adults alike got a chance to meet SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer, the Sun’s Gorilla, Baxter, Howler, Olympic Gold Medalist Amanda Borden and Hip-Hop Star Eric James.
Lindsay and Nathaniel’s Wedding
Lindsay and Nathaniel’s beautiful wedding and following reception took place at 4:30 in the afternoon on Sunday, October 10th, 2010 at the Eagle Mountain Golf Club, Fountain Hills, Arizona. What a gorgeous setting for this special day for a special couple.
Fore Green Golf Tournament – Friday October 15th at McCormick Ranch
Bob Wikes, founder of Fore Green Golf (www.4greengolf.com), sponsored an environmentally friendly golf tournament Friday, October 15th at the McCormick Ranch Golf Resort. A 7am expo was followed by golf from 8:30am to 2pm and lunch and awards from 2pm to 3:30. Vendors displayed and provided environmentally friendly golf related products and services. A great tournament with a topical and worthy theme! Thanks Bob for sponsoring this annual event!
Shape up Arizona! At Chandler’s Day of Play
Tuesday, October 12th was a mock-up at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler for preliminary television coverage of the Saturday October 16th “Shape up Arizona at Chandler’s Day of Play”. Approximately 15 vendors, including Azy’s Photography, set up so Phoenix television stations ABC Channel 15 and Fox Channel 10 could provide coverage to be used this week to advertise the event. The Park, located at Germann Road and McQueen will host well over 100 companies, government entities and foundations this Saturday with activities and presentations designed to provide a free, fun family outing.
You’re Never Too Young To Learn To Enjoy Tennis –October 6, 2010
When do you begin to learn to play tennis? As soon as you can hold a tennis racquet says Dayna Guizzetti, tennis instructor at La Camarilla Racquet, Fitness & Swim Club on Shea Boulevard in Phoenix. Her kindergarten tennis class is proof that no matter how young, kids are eager to learn the techniques and discipline to grow into well rounded tennis players, for fun and competition. Well……. at that age, sometimes focus is another concept to learn, but they do have fun. Azy’s Photography joyfully captured the little people as they scampered through their class.
