The Takas Family
On a slightly warm Sunday afternoon, on the edge of summer, May 13th, 2012, Azy met the Takas family, Jeremy, Payvand and adorable little Arion at the Scottsdale Civic Center for a family photo shoot. Such a lovely family and Arion was the center of attention. His cute little smile popped up now and then as he was captivated by all the new surroundings. All in all, a great afternoon of photography with a beautiful family.
Xavier and Brophy Prom Night 2012
Xavier College Preparatory and Brophy College Preparatory’s Prom Night was Saturday, April 28th, 2012. Buses transported the students to Sara Pourian’s residence on Mummy Mountain in Paradise Valley for a Pre-Prom reception, then transported them back to Brophy for the Prom. The Pourian residence was a beautiful backdrop for the reception with beautiful gals and handsome guys dressed in their finest, anticipating the exciting night to come.
Louie & Ronell Gomez
Azy met Louie and Ronell Gomez at Papago Park on Wednesday, April 25th 2012 at 10am. Her former bride and groom are expecting little Landon in June and were excited to have photos taken before the event. Pregnant moms are so captivating and Ronell was no exception. Although a bit uncomfortable at times, she toughed it out and the results were beautiful as you can see. Congratulations on the new addition to be and I’m sure baby photos will be in order in the near future.
Pirates of Penzance – April 20-22, 2012
ProMusica Arizona presented the concert Pirates of Penzance at the Boulder Creek High School Performing Arts Center in Anthem from Friday April 20th through Sunday April 22nd. This popular Gilbert & Sullivan comic opera was performed in grand fashion with talented vocals, lively acting and colorful pirate costumes. The event was punctuated by the presence of a villainous pirate and his parrot in the lobby.
Special kudos to Acting Executive Director Yvonne Dolby and her staff for producing this hugely successful event!
The Comer Family
The Comer family joined Azy at Papago Park on Sunday, April 8th 2012. It was Easter Sunday and the park was jam packed. But that didn’t stop Azy from taking beautiful photographs of this lovely family. Jill, Wayne, 6 year old Logan and 3 year old Quinn were ideal subjects and up to all the poses and locations Azy wanted. Logan was keyed up when they arrived but it took Quinn a few minutes to clear away the nap cobwebs. Then it was fun and games around the lake and up to the hole-in-the-rock. Everybody had a great time!
The Bell Family
Christopher and Catherine Bell and their children Jordan and Sarah came to Anthem for family pictures Sunday March 31st. Beautiful weather and a beautiful family made taking photographs a pleasurable event. Jordan and Sarah were energetic and curious about Anthem’s park and desert surroundings and canines Dakota and Puppy were active and involved in their family photography.
Navecia & Noelle Hill
The Scottsdale Civic Center was the backdrop for Azy’s photo session with Navecia Hill and daughter Noelle on Sunday, March 25th. Little Noelle was a delightful subject, barely walking, and was a joy to photograph. With such a beautiful setting and photogenic subjects, it’s no wonder the event produced such lovely images.
Sara & Mike Soto
Azy met Sara and Mike Soto at Papago Park on Saturday, March 24th for a photo session. Kindergartener Mike was the sole subject and was up to the task. What a delightful little boy. Whatever pose he was given, Mike quickly and cheerfully accommodated Azy’s directions. His quick smile and energetic actions were easy to photograph requiring little or no direction. Mama Sara beamed with pride as Mike quickly performed his modeling chores with ease. He’s quite the runner too.
The Steiners
Wednesday, March 21st found Azy at Papago Park to photograph Jackie Steiner, her family and friend. Niece Sophia and Mom Jeanne were willing subjects and some beautiful photographs were taken around the park. Later, Jackie and her boyfriend Chris Ricci climbed to the Hole In the Rock to pose for some adventurous shots. A great day for photography and such a nice couple to photograph.
The Nolan Family
On Monday, March 12th, 2012, Azy met Tanner and Sharon Nolan and their two children, Connor and Kennedy, at the Scottsdale Civic Center for a family photo shoot. It took a few minutes but the kids quickly warmed up to the idea of having their photos taken and running around the grassy areas of this beautiful setting. What a nice family, as the photos show, and Connor and Kennedy were adorable and filled with curiosity and energy fueled by gummy bears.
